Birthday wishes

To help Jen celebrate her birthday (hope you had a lovely birthday Jen!) the current challenge over at Less is More is to create a birthday card that Jen would like (Jen’s postman should be glad that we didn’t have to actually send them to her!).

Here’s what I came up with:

I love this cute digi image from 2 Cute Ink (although it’s either a giant cupcake or a teeny tiny kitty!). I paper pieced the cupcake case and icing with polka dot paper from pink petticoat, the rest of the image was coloured with promarkers (with an attempt at shading!). The sentiment is also from pink petticoat.
