Opposites attract?

The challenge from Less is More is to use two opposite colours from this colour wheel:

So I plumped for violet and yellow and not just a little of each – a full on yellow and violet colour explosion (possibly too much!?):

I found a butterfly shape in my Cameo’s Library and then positioned it along two edges of a square shape – modifying the size as I went to make the design more interesting. The first few cuts on the Cameo were disastrous but thankfully after much googling I discovered that adjusting the thickness setting would help. So with my blade thickness reduced from 30 to 12 I had another go and finally it came out ok – the next  problem was getting the paper off the sticky mat!!

The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches and is stamped in violet ink (Ranger make I think).
