Just Married

There hasn’t been much time for card making over the past few weeks – which is a shame as I’ve been itching to try out my new goodies!

Today I have two variations of a wedding card, which I have  made with a couple of challenges in mind.

To fit in with the challenge at less is more (use black and white with a splash of colour) the cards are predominantly black and white with some added red.  The other challenge I am entering is over at Casology where the cue word for this week is new.  To fit this theme I have created a wedding card for a new Mr and Mrs and I have also used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities and just married stamp-  a whole lot of new for the new year!

So without further ado………..

Just married 1

wedding 2

There are two slight differences between the cards……..can you spot them?

The cards were made with a just married stamp from hobbycraft (a one pound bargin!), spellbinder nestabilities (heart circles), black glitter card (on the bottom card), plain black card (top card), Sizzix framelits circle (bottom card) and scalloped circle (top card) and a red fineliner pen for colouring in the hearts on the stamped image.

Thanks for looking!

  3. Ah, my favourite layout – big circle on a square! Love your image and how you used the pops of red! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week, Lucy!
